Key Responsibilities
✅ Client Assessment & Evaluation
Conduct intake interviews and psychological assessments to identify substance use patterns and behavioral issues.
✅ Treatment Planning
Develop personalized recovery plans based on individual needs, goals, and progress levels.

Provide one-on-one, group, and family counseling sessions to support emotional healing and behavioral change.

Work alongside doctors, psychiatrists, social workers, and support staff to deliver holistic care.
✅ Confidentiality & Ethics
Maintain strict confidentiality, adhere to ethical guidelines, and ensure client trust and safety.
✅ Community Outreach
Participate in outreach programs to raise awareness about substance abuse prevention and recovery support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
✔ Excellent communication and active listening skills
✔ Compassionate, patient, and non-judgmental attitude
✔ Ability to manage emotionally charged situations calmly
✔ Understanding of addiction recovery models (12-step, CBT, DBT, etc.)
✔ Strong record-keeping and documentation abilities
✔ Knowledge of confidentiality standards and ethics in mental health
Preferred Qualifications (Optional but beneficial):
✔ Master’s degree in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, or Mental Health Studies
✔ Certification in addiction counseling (CADC, LADC, or equivalent)
✔ Prior experience in rehabilitation centers or clinical counseling
✔ Knowledge of trauma-informed care and relapse prevention techniques
✔ Training in group therapy facilitation or motivational interviewing
