Key Responsibilities
✅ Flight Preparation & Planning
- Review flight plans, weather conditions, and aircraft performance data before every flight.
- Determine the safest and most efficient flight paths and make adjustments when necessary.
✅ Aircraft Operation
- Operate the aircraft according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Manage takeoff, cruising, and landing safely and efficiently.
✅ Safety & Compliance
- Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
- Ensure all aviation and company safety regulations are followed.
- Respond to emergencies calmly and efficiently.
✅ Crew Coordination
- Communicate effectively with co-pilots, cabin crew, and ground control teams.
- Support and mentor junior pilots or flight trainees when required.
✅ Navigation & Communication
- Monitor navigation systems and communicate with air traffic control (ATC) at all stages.
- Ensure real-time reporting of weather changes or system alerts.
✅ Passenger & Cargo Management
- Oversee passenger comfort and safety during flights.
- Manage cargo load balancing and weight distribution.
✅ Record Keeping & Reporting
- Maintain accurate flight logs, incident reports, and operational documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
✔ Valid commercial pilot license (CPL) or airline transport pilot license (ATPL).
✔ Strong understanding of aviation safety, navigation, and weather interpretation.
✔ Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
✔ Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage emergency situations.
✔ Attention to detail with excellent situational awareness.
✔ Teamwork and leadership qualities for multi-crew coordination.
✔ Physical fitness and good vision.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional but beneficial):
✔ Multi-engine or instrument rating certifications.
✔ Previous experience in charter, cargo, or international flights.
✔ Bachelor’s degree in aviation, aeronautical science, or related fields.
✔ Experience with advanced avionics and flight management systems (FMS).
✔ Knowledge of international aviation regulations (FAA, EASA, ICAO).
