Key Responsibilities
✅ Patient Assessment

✅ Rehabilitation Therapy

✅ Home & Workplace Modifications
Advise on adjustments to home or workplace settings to accommodate physical limitations.
✅ Patient & Family Education
Educate patients and families about exercises, progress tracking, and coping strategies for recovery.
✅ Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate treatment records, evaluations, and patient progress notes.
✅ Interdisciplinary Collaboration
Work closely with physicians, nurses, psychologists, and social workers to deliver comprehensive care.
✅ Continuous Improvement
Stay updated on new therapeutic methods, rehabilitation technology, and mental health integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or Rehabilitation Science
✔ Strong understanding of human anatomy, psychology, and rehabilitation principles
✔ Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
✔ Patience, empathy, and attention to detail
✔ Physical stamina for assisting patients in exercises or mobility training
✔ Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
✔ Good written and verbal communication
✔ Ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
Preferred Qualifications (Optional but beneficial):
✔ Licensed or certified Occupational Therapist (OTR/L or equivalent)
✔ Experience in pediatric, geriatric, or mental health settings
✔ Knowledge of sensory integration therapy
✔ Familiarity with assistive technology or ergonomic assessments
✔ CPR / First Aid certification
✔ Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems
